Capitol Lakes in Madison, WI is seeking an experienced Cook Lead to oversee kitchen operations, ensure consistently outstanding meals, and mentor culinary staff in a luxury senior living setting that feels like a resort.

Nights and weekend availability is important, and the role rewards leadership with a comprehensive benefits package, regular hours, and competitive hourly pay ranging from $18.00 to $28.80 per hour, DOE.

Overview

Capitol Lakes, Madison’s premier upscale senior living community, is seeking an experienced Cook Lead to join our team of culinary professionals to create awesome food for our residents. Ideal candidate will have nights and weekend availability. We are not a nursing home or retirement community. At our luxury, resort-like community, we are driven to provide our residents with the best food the Madison Area has to offer, so our residents don’t need to leave home for an incredible culinary experience. Come join us in pushing the envelope! The successful candidate will find great satisfaction in making people happy through food—rock stars do it with guitars and drums; we do it with knives, the best ingredients we can find, and awesome skills. Additionally, we provide regular and consistent working hours and no more 11 pm or 2 am closing shifts!

Compensation

$18.00 - $28.80 / hr DOE

Work Schedule

Full Time, hours and days vary; weekend availability required.
