Job summary

Taziki’s Café in Birmingham, AL is seeking a Kitchen Team Member to help prepare fresh Mediterranean-inspired dishes in a fast-paced, friendly environment. You’ll learn about station setup, food prep, and proper hygiene while contributing to a team that values quality and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Preparing fresh food items daily and accurately
• Set up and stocking of stations with all necessary supplies
• Menu and product knowledge
• Managing orders efficiently
• Preparing catering orders
• Proper food handling and storage of food products
• Maintaining proper hygiene, uniform, and appearance
• Maintaining health department standards throughout each shift
• Cleaning and maintaining kitchen, dish, and prep areas
• Performing shift-side work to include opening and closing duties
• Completing all course certifications for Kitchen Team Members in our training platform

Your Working Conditions/ Hours:

• Morning shift - 8am - 4pm
• Evenings - 4pm - 10pm
• Weekends - when applicable
• Holidays - when applicable (always CLOSED Thanksgiving & Christmas!)

*Hours will vary by store.

You’ll work in a typical restaurant kitchen environment which includes but is not limited to using equipment such as a flattop and char grill, oven, slicer, mixer and food processor.
