Job summary

Modern Market in Colorado is seeking a part-time Back of House/Culinary Team member to help prepare fresh, from-scratch meals in a high-energy, open kitchen. You will join a team that values enthusiasm, guest focus, and a readiness to learn while contributing to a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Conceive and update menus several times a year that embody our brand and showcase seasonal ingredients, featuring a diverse range of chiefbowls, Homestyle's plates, salads.
• Lead and manage back-of-house staff, including prep cooks and dishwashers, providing guidance and training.
• Execute recipes with precision and consistency.
• Continuously expand culinary knowledge of techniques and best practices.
• Perform quality checks to ensure food meets culinary and safety standards.
• Comply with restaurant standards for safety, hygiene, and quality.

Back of House / Culinary Team

Our Culinary Rockstars work to prepare the best food according to our high standards. They chop, prep, sauté, grill, bake and use their culinary skills to make our healthy, mouthwatering food.

Key Responsibilities Include (not limited to)

• Comply with restaurant standards for safety, hygiene, and quality

• Manage trash, cardboard, and recyclable materials
• Handle kitchen equipment and clean spills promptly throughout the shift
