Job summary

Modern Market Cook position at Thrive Restaurant Group Career Center seeks individuals passionate about healthy, from-scratch cooking in a fast-paced open kitchen. The team focuses on guest experience, teamwork, and a willingness to learn and grow with the brand.

Responsibilities include menu conception, supervising prep cooks and dishwashers, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety across all dishes.

• Conceive and update menus several times a year embodying the brand and seasonal ingredients.
• Lead back-of-house staff, including prep cooks and dishwashers, guiding and supporting a positive work environment.
• Execute recipes with precision and consistency.
• Continuously expand culinary knowledge of techniques and best practices.
• Perform quality checks to ensure food meets culinary and safety standards.
• Comply with restaurant safety, hygiene, and quality standards.
• Manage waste and kitchen cleanup throughout the shift.

Back of House / Culinary Team

Our Culinary Rockstars work to prepare the best food according to our high standards. They chop, prep, sauté, grill, bake and use their culinary skills to make our healthy, mouthwatering food.

Key Responsibilities Include (not limited to)

• Conceive and updatemenus several times a year that embody our brand and showcase seasonal ingredients, featuring a diverse range of chiefbowls,Homestyle’s plates, salads.
• Lead and manage back-of-housestaff, including prep cooks, and dishwashers. Provide guidance, training, and support to foster a positive and productive work environment.
• Execute recipes with precision and consistency
• Continuously expand culinary knowledge of techniques and best practices.
• Perform quality checks to ensure all food meets culinary and safety standardsmastery of ingredients, measurements, and preparation techniques
• Comply with restaurant standards for safety, hygiene, and quality

• Manage trash, cardboard, and recyclable materials
• Handle kitchen equipment and clean spills promptly throughout the shift
