Job summary

Modern Market Cook role at Thrive Restaurant Group Career Center seeks a team member to prepare fresh, mouthwatering dishes in a fast-paced open kitchen. You will contribute to seasonal menus, train and lead back-of-house staff, and ensure recipes are executed with consistency.

• Conceive and update menus several times a year featuring seasonal ingredients.
• Lead and manage back-of-house staff including prep cooks and dishwashers.
• Execute recipes with precision and consistency.
• Expand culinary knowledge and best practices.
• Perform quality checks for safety and standards.
• Manage trash and kitchen waste handling.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety throughout the shift.

Back of House / Culinary Team

Our Culinary Rockstars work to prepare the best food according to our high standards. They chop, prep, sauté, grill, bake and use their culinary skills to make our healthy, mouthwatering food.

Key Responsibilities Include (not limited to)

• Conceive and updatemenus several times a year that embody our brand and showcase seasonal ingredients, featuring a diverse range of chiefbowls,Homestyle’s plates, salads.
• Lead and manage back-of-housestaff, including prep cooks, and dishwashers. Provide guidance, training, and support to foster a positive and productive work environment.
• Execute recipes with precision and consistency
• Continuously expand culinary knowledge of techniques and best practices.
• Perform quality checks to ensure all food meets culinary and safety standardsmastery of ingredients, measurements, and preparation techniques
• Comply with restaurant standards for safety, hygiene, and quality

• Manage trash, cardboard, and recyclable materials
• Handle kitchen equipment and clean spills promptly throughout the shift
