Job summary

Trinity Services Group in Waukegan, IL is seeking a Cook for an on-site jail facility. You will handle food prep, follow recipes, and maintain safety standards. The schedule is 9:30am to 6pm with some weekends and holidays required.

You report to a Food Service Director and must have a high school diploma or GED plus at least 1 year of cooking experience; ability to lift up to 50 pounds; benefits and DailyPay are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of cooking experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Experience in a cafeteria or large-volume facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up workstation with ingredients and equipment.
• Prepare and cook hot and cold items according to recipes.
• Follow food safety procedures and state regulations.
• Report to Food Service Director and work with the team to serve meals.
• Complete opening and closing checklists and maintain cleanliness.
