Sevita’s NeuroRestorative in Tyler, TX is seeking a Dietary and Food Cook to prepare meals for residents and participants in our rehabilitation programs. You will follow menus, portion meals, and ensure food safety and quality while supporting a collaborative kitchen team.

Responsibilities include reviewing orders, cooking, portioning, and assisting with menu development, while managing costs and maintaining high standards of service for our clients and staff.

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of related experience.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task to meet deadlines.
• Effective communication skills to manage relationships.
• Self-motivated and collaborative; a team player.
• Strong culinary knowledge and a commitment to excellent customer service.

• Carve portions of meat, fish, or fowl for individual servings; inspect food storage and directs sanitary maintenance of kitchen and storage facilities.

• Determine food quantities, labor, and overhead costs.

NeuroRestorative, a part of the Sevita family, provides rehabilitation services for people of all ages with brain, spinal cord and medically complex injuries, illnesses and other challenges.
