Job summary

Vi at Lakeside Village is seeking a Cook to join its kitchen team in Lake Worth, FL. You will prepare a variety of dishes, keep a clean and safe workspace, and help with stock rotation and deliveries as needed.

Ideal candidates have 1 year of line cooking experience in quality settings, a preferred high school diploma or GED, and a Food Handler certificate where required. A driver’s license may be needed, and adherence to background screening is required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of basic line cooking experience in a high-quality restaurant, country club, hotel, or senior living company.
• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Possess or be willing to obtain Food Handler certificate, as required.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license, where applicable.

Responsibilities

Cook

Assist in preparing all types of food while maintaining a safe, clean and sanitary work area. You will also assist with receiving and stocking deliveries using proper rotational practices. May assist kitchen attendant as needed.

Qualifications

• Qualified applicants will preferably possess 1 year basic line cooking experience within a high quality restaurant, country club, hotel or senior living company.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
• Possess or be willing and to obtain Food Handler certificate, as required.
• Must possess a valid and valid driver's license, where applicable.

Additional Requirements Include

• Basic knowledge in all facets of kitchen work.
• Keen eye for details.
• Ability to follow recipe cards accurately and use a Point of Sale (POS) system.

Pay Range

USD $19.52 - USD $23.91 /Hr.
