Job summary

The Marcus Corporation’s Mason Street Grill in downtown Milwaukee is seeking a Part-Time Cook II to prepare meats, fish, sauces, stocks, and other items at a designated station. You will uphold high standards of food safety, presentation, and efficiency in a fast-paced kitchen.

Qualified candidates have 1–2 years of cooking experience, a high school diploma (preferred), and the ability to obtain sanitation certifications.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of prior cooking experience in a similar role required.
• High school diploma or GED preferred; culinary/apprenticeship programs preferred.
• Must be able to obtain local, state, or federal sanitation or food service certifications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare station-specific items per standard recipes and guest requests.
• Inspect and select food items suitable for preparation; monitor portions.
• Maintain storage, cleanliness, and compliance with Health Department regulations.
• Ensure equipment is clean, sanitized, and in good working order.
• Assist with set up, advance prep, and station breakdown at end of service.
• Follow safety, sanitation, and personal hygiene protocols at all times.
