Washington State University Dining Services is hiring a Cook 2 in Pullman, WA. The role involves preparing menu items, special menus, and catering offerings under supervision, collaborating with the Chef and Manager to develop new items annually and seasonally.

You will manage inventory, set production par levels, and lead batch cooking during peak periods while ensuring safety, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction.

Formación

• Two (2) years cooking experience in a large scale food service or culinary operation which includes six (6) months experience directing the work of others.
• Possession of, or ability to obtain, a Food Handler’s Permit within 14 days of employment.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare menu items, special menus, and catering offerings.
• Collaborate with the Chef and Manager to develop new menu items annually and seasonally.
• Maintain inventory, establish production par levels, and manage batch cooking during peak meal periods.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of food products and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Provide exceptional customer service to guests.
