Qualifications

• 18 months of work experience in a food service operation.
• Must possess a valid Texas driver license or obtain it within 90 days of hire.
• Certification in Food Safety (ServSafe, Learn to Serve, or Food Protection Manager) preferred, or obtain within six months.
• Able to lift at least 25 pounds.
• Ability to work overtime/extended hours.
• English reading and speaking ability.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, season, cook and portion food for regular and modified diets.
• Train and oversee kitchen staff in food prep and safety.
• Maintain sanitation and safety in food preparation areas and equipment.
• Operate and maintain food service equipment safely.
• Distribute and deliver food to residents as needed.
