Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year relevant experience in cooking, production, or food service.
• Safe Food Handler certification within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Measures, mixes, and prepares ingredients according to approved recipes.
• Uses kitchen equipment such as blenders, mixers, grinders, slicers, ovens, steamers.
• Demonstrates knife skills: chopping, slicing, dicing, paring.
• Prepares and presents café, patient, and catering menu items per recipes and standards.
• Cooks meats, fish, and fowl safely using baking, roasting, broiling, and steaming.
• Maintains temperature logs and daily production sheets; reports issues to supervisor.
• Ensures HACCP practices and infection control at all times.
• Maintains station cleanliness and supplies; assists with leftovers handling.
• Adheres to safety and quality standards in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
