Job summary

Paradies Lagardère is seeking a Cook II in South San Francisco, CA to deliver high-quality meals and guest experiences. This non-exempt, full-time role reports to the General Manager in the Dining Division and operates on-site in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities include following recipes, maintaining food safety, assisting with supplies, and training new staff. Candidate should have ServSafe or equivalent certification and 1 year cooking experience.

Qualifications

• Requires minimum 1 year of closely related cooking experience in high volume or fast casual dining.
• Ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions and policy documents in English.
• ServSafe Certification or equivalent.
• Able to work unsupervised and demonstrate good judgment with guests.
• Proven cooking experience including line cook responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous, friendly and efficient service to guests and team members.
• Follow recipes precisely and ensure 100% recipe adherence and food safety.
• Assist with ordering and planning food supplies as directed by supervisor.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and enforce safety standards.
• Assist with training new cooks and other restaurant staff as needed.
