Qualifications

• Three years of cook experience required in similar setting.
• Strong ability to plan and organize work and interpret recipes.
• Knowledge of kitchen equipment operations and maintenance.
• Nutrition and diet knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve all food items based on standardized recipes to include sauces, sautés, boils, braises and roasts.
• Prepare meats, seafood, poultry, fish, vegetables and other food items for cooking with 100% quality responsibility.
• Assist in daily prep, special functions, banquets, catering and events.
• Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food at line stations.
• Plan production and ensure food excellence, temperature and appearance.
