Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Cook II at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach. You will be part of a team, prepare and present hot and cold dishes, and focus on customer service with a positive, helpful attitude.

This full-time role offers flexible shifts, open availability, and opportunities to learn and grow within a large foodservice organization. Prior kitchen experience (3–4 years) is preferred, and you will follow recipes and assist with safety and cleanliness.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of related work experience preferred
• Ability to read and follow basic recipes
• Customer service mindset and teamwork

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for various meal periods
• Read and follow basic recipes and/or product directions
• May prepare food and serve customers at an a la carte and/or operate a grill station
• May support management in the daily oversight of key functions and employees during the normal course of business
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
