Job summary

Haxtun Health in Haxtun, CO is seeking a dependable PRN Cook I to join our patient and resident meal program. You will prepare meals meeting dietary needs, follow recipes, and ensure high sanitation and safety standards.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in food preparation, understands regular and modified diets, and works flexible shifts with night/weekend differentials. This is a PRN non-benefited position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to follow standardized recipes and practice portion control.
• Understanding regular and modified diets and use of a menu as reference.
• 1 year of experience in food preparation and sanitation.
• Knowledge of foods and preparation methods.

Job Details

• Starting Pay Range: $15.61/hr - $20.29/hr, depending on experience
• Position Status: PRN, non-exempt
• Shift: Variable shifts based on operational needs
• Shift Differentials: Nights = +10% of base wage (after 6pm), Weekends = +15% of base wage
