Adept Nursing & Rehab of Central City is seeking a reliable PRN Cook to support our dietary services team. You will prepare meals meeting planned menus and residents’ dietary needs, with attention to safety and quality.

This on-site role offers day and evening shifts, competitive pay based on experience, and the opportunity to contribute to residents’ well-being through nutritious, tasty meals.

Qualifications

• Experience cooking in healthcare, hospitality, or institutional settings preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Ability to follow recipes and portion control guidelines.
• Dependable, positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• ServSafe certification a plus or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals per planned menus and resident dietary needs.
• Ensure meals are prepared and served at proper temperatures and sanitary.
• Assist with kitchen cleanup and dishwashing as needed.
• Follow all safety and infection control policies.
• Collaborate with dietary aides and team to ensure resident satisfaction.

• Ensure food is prepared and served at proper temperatures and in a sanitary manner.
• Assist with kitchen cleanup and dishwashing as needed.
• Follow all safety and infection control policies.
