Job summary

Westminster at Lake Ridge is seeking a Dietary Lead to oversee meal preparation and delivery for health center residents and assisted living units. The role requires leading shift staff, verifying tray accuracy, and ensuring compliance with state and federal dietary regulations.

We offer full-time shifts from 6am–3:30pm or 11am–8pm, with a wage of $18.36–$22.95 per hour commensurate with experience, plus benefits and growth opportunities in a continuing care community.

Qualifications

• Six months to one year dietary experience in service and nutrition.
• Ability to apply written and oral instructions with strong communication skills.
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to dietary services.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver meals to Health Center and Assisted Living Unit daily.
• Serve as lead dietary staff on shift and act as checker on the tray line to ensure accuracy.
• Adhere to all state and federal regulations and assist residents with food selection.

Westminster at Lake Ridge is a premier Continuing Care Retirement Community serving older adults in three levels of service: Independent Living, Assisted Living, and a Health Center. Job Requirements:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED), six (6) months to a one (1) year dietary experience in service and nutrition; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Incumbent should be able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written and oral form, possess high-quality verbal and written communication ability, strong customer service skills, and knowledge on state and federal regulations.

Job Summary:

This position is primarily responsible or preparing and delivering meals to the Health Center and Assisted Living Unit on a daily basis. This position is the lead dietary staff member on the shift, reporting to the Dietary Supervisor. This position is the ‘checker’ on the tray line and ensures accuracy of trays to meal tickets. Additional responsibilities include adhering to all state and federal regulations, assisting residents with selection of food, etc.
