Job summary

Loews Ventana Canyon Resort in Tucson, AZ is seeking a skilled cook to join our culinary team. You will prep, cook, and plate menu items while adhering to quality and safety standards in a high-volume upscale setting.

We're looking for someone with at least three years of cooking experience, a valid High School Diploma (or equivalent), and the ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays. Benefits are offered to eligible team members.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, or equivalent.
• Post-secondary culinary training/certification is a plus.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and organizes work area with all necessary supplies and equipment.
• Receives, inspects, and stores all food products to ensure quality.
• Prepares and cooks menu items following standardized recipes.
• Adheres to portion control guidelines and minimizes waste.
• Plates foods according to presentation guidelines and ensures timely service.
• Monitors finished products to ensure quality and timely serving.
• Complies with Governmental Food Sanitation Standards at all times.
