Summary

To assist in the preparation and cooking of a variety of foods following state and federal guidelines at the NH Veterans Home.

• Must be able and willing to wear a hairnet.
• Must be able and willing to adhere to all hygiene-related standards for the food industry.

• Knowledge of the methods, materials and practices of large-scale food preparation, food service and related activities including health hazards in food service and the necessary precautionary measures.

• Ability to read and follow recipes and special directions.
• Ability to supervise and train staff, including organizing, prioritizing and scheduling work assignments.
