Job summary

Volunteers of America Texas seeks a team member in Hutchins, Texas to support kitchen operations and meal preparation. You will assist in menu item prep, maintain clean storage areas, and help ensure proper portion control and safety standards.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent (or related experience), a Food Handlers certificate (or ability to obtain), and a valid Texas driver4; s license with a clear MVR. Weekend availability is required.

• Food Handlers certificate or the ability to obtain certification within a specified time frame.
• Valid Texas driver4; s license, clear MVR and ability to be insured.

• Assists in the preparation of menu items according to the published menu guide.
• Maintains kitchen/storage areas in a healthy, clean, and organized manner.
• Insures proper portion control is utilized.
• Maintains neat and clean work area at all times.
