Job summary

VOA-Texas in Hutchins, Texas is seeking a dedicated full-time team member to maintain security and operational control of the facility. The role includes recording events, monitoring client movements, and ensuring safety and cleanliness.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, plus residential setting experience and a Texas driver’s license. A $1,000 sign-on bonus is offered along with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• A Texas Driver's License, clear MVR and ability to be insured.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the overall security and operational control of the assigned facility.
• Maintains chronological written records of events that occur during the shift.
• Monitors client movements inside and outside the facility.
• Controls contraband in facility through general observation, facility searches, and client searches.
• Ensures facility cleanliness by assigning and monitoring client work, morning duty, and extra duty assignments.
• Obtains urine specimens and breath samples to monitor client substance usage.
• Monitors visitor activities.
• Monitors, observes, and records client self-administration of medication.
• Transports clients in agency vehicles to and from scheduled activities as assigned
