VOA-Texas in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Cook II to prepare menu items, maintain clean kitchen areas, and ensure portion control across meals. This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent plus 2 years of cooking experience for large volumes and a valid Texas driver’s license with a clean MVR.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus 2 years of experience cooking for more than 90 clients.
• Food Handlers certificate is required.
• Valid Texas Drivers’ License, clear MVR, and ability to be insured.

Responsibilities

• Prepares menu items according to the published menu guide.
• Maintains kitchen/storage areas in a healthy, clean, sanitary and organized manner.
• Attends in-service training as required.
• Insures proper portion control is utilized.
• Ensures that dining room and service line are cleaned after each meal.

Day-to-Day
