Job Title: Cook 1

Pay Structure: Paid Bi-weekly

Position Overview

The Cook 1 is an essential member of the kitchen team responsible for preparing high-quality dishes according to established recipes and standards. They contribute to efficient food production and maintain a clean, organized kitchen environment. Their attention to detail, culinary skills, and teamwork are vital for delivering a positive dining experience.

Essential Job Functions
  1. Food Preparation: Follow recipes, measure ingredients, cook and season food, monitor cooking processes.
  2. Station Management: Work on specific stations, coordinate with staff, maintain cleanliness.
  3. Quality Control: Inspect food quality, taste, adjust seasoning, ensure presentation standards.
  4. Food Safety and Sanitation: Follow safety regulations, maintain hygiene, monitor temperatures.
  5. Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively, assist colleagues, support training.
  6. Inventory Management: Monitor supplies, report low stock, assist in counts and stock rotation.
