Marcus Hotels & Resorts seeks a Cook I for HOTEL PASEO, Autograph Collection in Palm Desert. You will prepare station-specific items from menus, expedite orders, and supervise junior teammates to standards. Must have 3+ years cooking experience and a high school diploma is preferred.

What You Will Be Doing

• Prepare station-specific food items according to recipes, ensuring consistency and quality.

What We Are Looking For

• Previous cooking experience required, minimum of 3 years in a similar position preferred, Culinary or Apprenticeship program preferred.
• High school diploma preferred.
• Sufficient manual dexterity of hand in order to use all kitchen equipment, i.e., knives, spoons, spatulas, tongs, slicers, etc.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull weights up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to stand for long periods, work in a confined space with high levels of noise and frequent interruptions, and perform duties within extreme temperature ranges.
• Ability to obtain any local, state or federal license or certification for sanitation, liquor service, or food service certification.
• Must be able to work a varied schedule to include days, evenings, weekends, holidays and the ability to work under pressure.
