We are seeking a skilled and reliable Line Cook to join our kitchen team. The Line Cook is responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking menu items, and ensuring a clean and organized workstation. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
Prepare food for service (e.g., chopping vegetables, butchering meat, preparing sauces)
Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
Ensure food is prepared according to recipes and quality standards
Maintain cleanliness and comply with food safety standards
Stock inventory appropriately and alert the chef of any shortages
Answer, report, and follow executive or sous chef instructions
Clean up station and take care of leftover food
Handle food storage and labeling properly
Requirements:
Proven cooking experience, including experience as a Line Cook or Prep Cook
Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
Familiar with industry best practices and food safety standards
Ability to work in a team and take direction
