Job summary

Haven Homes, a Cassia community, is hiring a Cook to join our culinary team. You will prepare and serve home-style meals for residents in a clean, safe kitchen, while contributing to a warm, resident-focused dining experience.

This full-time role includes working every other weekend and every other holiday, with hours from 10:30 am to 7:00 pm. Pay is $21 to $23.20 per hour, depending on experience, plus Cassia benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of commercial cooking experience.
• Strong communication with residents and staff.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assist in cooking all meals to ensure adherence to recipes and quality standards.
• Work within the department to provide quality and nutritious meals and service to residents.
• Assist with food preparation for residents.
• Help maintain a clean and sanitary dietary department.
• Assist residents, employees, and guests with a broad range of dietary needs.
• Perform other duties as needed.
