Job summary

Live Well Healthcare Solutions is seeking a dedicated Cook for a nursing facility. You will prepare and plate nutritious meals, maintain sanitation, and support the Dietary Manager during absences. The role includes managing inventory and contributing to recipe development, with flexibility for special events.

Full-time position with benefits, requiring availability every other weekend. This role is based on-site at a nursing facility in the Live Well network.

Responsibilities

• Meal Preparation & Culinary Excellence: Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, and cook a variety of nutritious meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner following standardized recipes.
• Plating & Presentation: Plate and garnish all cooked items expertly to ensure an attractive menu presentation.
• Leadership Support: Act as a liaison for the Dietary Manager during their absence to ensure seamless meal prep and delivery.
• Kitchen Sanitation: Maintain high sanitation standards by thoroughly cleaning the kitchen and all culinary equipment before and after food service.
• Inventory & Recipe Management: Manage inventory, handle stock rotation, assist with purchasing, and ensure recipe development and compliance.
• Special Events: Flexibly handle last-minute culinary requests for special events and facility functions.
