Job summary

FLIK Hospitality Group is hiring full-time Cook, Helper roles at Hawaii Baptist Academy in Honolulu, HI. The schedule runs 5:00 am - 3:00 pm with some Saturdays and evenings. Starting pay is $15.50 per hour; cooking experience is a plus and training is available.

Free meals and uniforms/laundry services may be provided at select locations. Associates enjoy benefits, including retirement plans and health/wellness programs, with additional medical and FSAs for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Cooking experience is a plus, willing to train!
• Location is Honolulu, HI; training may be provided on-site.
• Ability to learn recipes and guidelines as part of the role.

Responsibilities

• Learns to read menu to estimate food requirements.
• Prepares and cooks food in accordance with recipes.
• Adjusts oven, broiler, grill, roaster, and steam kettle temperatures as trained.
• Assists with measuring and mixing ingredients using kitchen utensils and equipment.
• Bakes, roasts, broils and steams meats, fish, vegetables and other foods.
• Interacts with customers and coworkers in a courteous, efficient manner.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
