BSG Maintenance is seeking a Cook - Healthcare for our Milwaukee facility. You will prepare meals following standard recipes and ensure proper portioning for residents, supporting our dining services with high-quality service.

Hours are Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm, with occasional weekend coverage. TB testing and a healthcare background check are required. We emphasize cleanliness, reliability, and a team-oriented kitchen environment.

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high cleanliness standards.
• Physical stamina to lift, stand, and bend for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and irregular hours as needed.
• Reliable commuting to and from work when scheduled.

Responsabilités

• Meal preparation following standardized recipes.
• Cook and prepare meals for residents.
• Maintain clean kitchen by washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces.
• Properly store and stock food and supplies.
• Interact with residents politely and professionally.
• Adhere to safety and sanitation policies and procedures.

Cook Responsibilities

• Meal Preparation: Follows standardized recipes. Prepare everything on the menu for your shift and prep food for the next shift.
• Meal Cooking: Cook and prepare meals. Must be able to read recipes/meal tickets to ensure proper distribution. Maintain proper portion control.
• Cleaning: Maintain a clean kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and removing trash.
• Food Storage: Ensures food and other items are stocked and stored properly.
• Resident Interaction: Be polite and helpful to residents, responding to their requests and inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Compliance: Adhere to all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Previous cooking experience is preferred but we are willing to train.
• Ability to pass a TB Test and Healthcare background check.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and irregular hours as needed.
• Ability to get to and from work reliably when scheduled.
