Job summary

Grand View Lodge is seeking a skilled Cook to join our kitchen team across a multi-outlet resort. You’ll prepare menu items, maintain station cleanliness, and contribute to a culture of teamwork, craft, and pride in the plate.

With Cook I–III levels, there’s a clear path to grow; weekend and holiday availability is required, and some shifts may involve other resort outlets. This is a full-time, on-site role at Nisswa, MN.

Qualifications

• Prior kitchen experience in a restaurant, resort, or food service environment.
• Ability to meet skill expectations based on Cook level I, II, or III.
• Strong time management and the ability to meet deadlines during service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare menu items according to established recipes and plating expectations.
• Ensure items are presented well and served at the correct temperature.
• Keep station clean, organized, and stocked during service.
• Close and sanitize work area meeting food safety standards.
• Maintain personal hygiene and a professional kitchen appearance.
• Report equipment issues and inventory needs to supervisor.
• Collaborate with kitchen team and support other outlets as needed.
• Availability on weekends, holidays, and extended hours during peak seasons.
