AVI Foodsystems, Inc. is seeking a Cook at University of Mount Union in Alliance, OH. This is a full-time role with Sunday 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM and Monday–Thursday 12:15 PM to 8:15 PM. Fridays and Saturdays off.

You will prepare hot and cold dishes, maintain a sanitary kitchen, and contribute to daily menus with the team. AVI Foodsystems offers extensive training, health/dental/vision/life insurance, a 401(k) match, paid vacations and holidays, and a family culture.

Qualifikationen

• 2+ years of cooking experience including food preparation.
• Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and sanitation practices.
• Excellent food presentation and teamwork.

• Complete hot meal preparation by grilling, sautéing, roasting, frying, and broiling ingredients and assembling and refrigerating cold ingredients.
• Adhere to proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Maintain appropriate dating, labeling, and rotation of all food items.
• Stores leftovers according to established standards.
• Contribute to daily, holiday, and theme menus in collaboration with the team.

AVI Foodsystems is looking for an energetic and optimistic team member to fill the role of Cook at University of Mount Union in Alliance, OH. This is a full-time position working Sunday 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM, and Monday through Thursday from 12:15 PM to 8:15 PM. Off on Fridays and Saturdays!

Requirements:

• 2 or more years of cooking experience to include food preparation
• Strong working knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and safety and sanitation practices
