Job summary

Oakmont Management Group in Hayward, CA is seeking friendly line cooks for Ivy Park at Hayward, a premier senior living community. Training is provided; prior experience is not required. You will work in a full scratch kitchen, preparing meals for residents and engaging with residents and guests to build personal connections.

Must be available to work at least one weekend day. We offer a team-focused, hospitality-driven culture with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Line cook experience in a Full Scratch Kitchen or Restaurant.
• 2 to 5 years experience on a fast-paced line, or working a prep cook line station.
• Ability to execute flawless dishes in a timely manner.
• Ability to communicate with a friendly demeanor to all staff.
• Passionate about service to others and creating exceptional food experiences.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including TB tests.

Responsibilities

• Cook meals for residents in a senior living community.
• Interact with residents and guests to build personal connections.
• Maintain high-quality, seasonally-inspired menus.
• Follow health and safety protocols and safety guidelines.
