We are hiring immediately for a full-time and part-time COOK position.

Location: Lake Norman Regional Medical Center - 171 Fairview Road, Mooresville, NC 28117. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time and part-time schedules; days and hours may vary. More details upon interview.

Requirement: Five years of prior restaurant and volume cooking experience preferred, but not required.

Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepares food according to applicable standards, guidelines, and regulations, ensuring quality service at all times.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Prepares high-quality food items according to recipes and instructions.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery, ensuring correct portioning, temperature, and presentation.
• Uses established ticket procedures during service; maintains records.
• Maintains cleanliness of kitchen and storage areas following safety standards.
• Operates and maintains kitchen equipment.
• Assists in production planning, record keeping, and ordering supplies.
• Reports maintenance issues or accidents immediately.
• Attends safety and in-service meetings.
• Fosters good working relationships with colleagues and supervisors.
• Follows HACCP standards and safety policies, including proper use of gloves, oven mitts, slip-resistant shoes, and proper lifting techniques.
