Job Details
  • We are hiring immediately for full-time PREP COOK positions.
  • Address: St. Vincent Indianapolis - 2001 West 86th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46260. Note: online applications accepted only.
  • Schedule: Full-time schedules, Monday through Friday, hours may vary, including every other weekend; more details upon interview.
  • Requirement: Previous food service in the hospitality industry is preferred but not required.
  • Pay Range: $15.00 to $16.00 per hour.

Role Summary

Prepares food and serves customers in accordance with applicable standards, guidelines, and regulations.

Responsibilities
  1. Obtain daily production schedule and requirements from the Chef.
  2. Prepare items following established recipes and quantities.
  3. Complete and follow daily worksheets and waste logs; taste meals for quality.
  4. Operate and clean equipment after each use.
  5. Store, label, and date all food items following HACCP guidelines.
  6. Complete documentation, reports, and logs as required.
  7. Follow health and sanitation regulations.
  8. Take customer orders and prepare items requiring short preparation time.
  9. Serve customers efficiently and courteously.
  10. Use approved recipes and standards for quality and portion control.
  11. Resolve customer concerns and perform additional duties as assigned.
