Morrison Living

Morrison Living is hiring immediately for full-time and part-time COOK positions.

  • Location: Priest of the Sacred Heart - 7330 South Lovers Lane Road, Franklin, WI 53132.
  • Schedule: Full-time and part-time schedules. Shifts are from 6:00 am to 2:00 pm and 11:00 am to 7:00 pm, with days varying. Rotating weekends included. More details upon interview.
  • Requirement: Previous batch cooking experience is required.

  • Pay Range: $21.00 to $22.00 per hour.

Job Summary


Summary: Prepares food following federal, state, and corporate standards, guidelines, and regulations, ensuring quality food service at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepares high-quality food according to recipes and instructions to meet production and service schedules.
  • Serves meals or prepares for delivery, ensuring correct portioning, temperature, attractiveness, and taste. Tastes all prepared food.
  • Uses established procedures during service; responsible for records from the area worked.
  • Cleans kitchen after use, maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Stores or discards excess food safely.
  • Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and organized. Ensures proper storage of food and supplies.
  • Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed.
  • Assists in production planning, record keeping, and reporting.
  • Assists in ordering and receiving food and supplies.
  • Reports maintenance issues, faulty equipment, or accidents immediately.
  • Attends in-service and safety meetings.
  • Maintains good relationships with coworkers, customers, and management.
  • Performs job safely, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Ensures proper presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures; follows HACCP standards.
  • Commits to personal and team safety.
  • Follows all company policies, including safety procedures when handling equipment and hot items.
