Job summary

Northbridge Communities is seeking a cook to support both dining room and kitchen operations in our senior living community. You will rove the dining room and kitchen, assisting wherever needed with the Culinary Director to ensure meals are prepared, served, and cleaned up efficiently.

We value a friendly, patient attitude and the ability to adapt to changing roles during busy times. Training is provided, and a respectful work environment with opportunities for growth is offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in a restaurant or with customers is a plus, but training is provided.
• Be open to changing roles on the fly.
• Stay positive and especially when it's busy to keep things happy.
• Be patient and understanding when residents have requests or concerns.
• Notice when things need to be clean, helping keep the dining area tidy and safe.

Responsibilities

• Talk to residents in a friendly way, share the daily menu, and make sure they’re happy.
• Serve dishes to our residents in a kind manner.
• Assist in cleaning pots pans and keeping the kitchen area spick and span.
• Keep the kitchen and dining room clean and follow rules to keep the food safe.
• Assist Chef with cooking at meal service.

Job Summary
