Job Summary

Summary: Prepares food following federal, state, and corporate standards, guidelines, and regulations. Ensures quality food service at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepares high-quality food items per standardized recipes and instructions to meet schedules.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery, ensuring correct portioning, temperature, and presentation. Tastes all prepared food.
• Uses established ticket collection procedures. Maintains records during service.
• Cleans kitchen post-service, maintains cleanliness standards, and stores or discards excess food safely.
• Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean. Ensures proper storage of food and supplies.
• Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed.
• Assists in production planning, record keeping, and reporting.
• Supports in ordering and receiving food and supplies.
• Reports maintenance issues or accidents immediately.
• Attends safety and in-service meetings.
• Maintains good relationships with coworkers, customers, and management.
• Performs job safely, maintaining a clean, safe environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Ensures proper presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures; follows HACCP standards.
• Prioritizes safety for yourself and others.
• Follows all company policies, including safety protocols when handling kitchen tools and equipment.
