Job Description: Cook at Morrison Healthcare

We are hiring immediately for full-time COOK positions at Morrison Healthcare.

Location: UC West Chester - 7700 University Drive, West Chester, OH 45069. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time; Monday through Friday, hours may vary. Rotating weekends and holidays. More details upon interview.

Requirement: Prior customer service and cooking experience preferred, but not required.

Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Prepare food according to federal, state, and corporate standards, ensuring quality and safety at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Prepare high-quality food items following standardized recipes and instructions.
  2. Serve meals or prepare for delivery, ensuring proper portioning, temperature, and presentation.
  3. Use established procedures for ticket collection and record keeping during service.
  4. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and storage areas, following safe food-handling procedures.
  5. Operate and maintain kitchen equipment as instructed.
  6. Assist in production planning, ordering, and receiving of supplies.
  7. Report maintenance issues or accidents immediately.
  8. Attend safety and in-service meetings.
  9. Maintain good working relationships with colleagues and management.
  10. Follow safety protocols, including proper use of gloves, oven mitts, slip-resistant shoes, and lifting techniques.
  11. Perform other duties as assigned.
