Qualifications

• Healthcare/long-term care cooking experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and dietary guidelines.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• ServSafe certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Dependable attendance and a positive, team-focused attitude.
• Ability to work every other weekend as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Follow recipes, portion control standards, and food preparation guidelines.
• Accommodate special diets and texture modifications as required.

Position Overview

The Cook is responsible for preparing and serving nutritious, home-style meals while following resident dietary needs, planned menus, food safety standards, and sanitation guidelines. We are looking for someone who is dependable, organized, team-oriented, and takes pride in providing quality meals and excellent service to our residents.

Schedule

• Full-Time Position
