Join to apply for the COOK (FULL TIME) role at Compass One Healthcare.

We are hiring immediately for full-time COOK positions at Shriners Children's Hospital Saint Louis, located at 4400 Clayton Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63110. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time; Monday through Friday, hours may vary, with rotating weekends and holidays. More details will be provided upon interview.

Requirement: At least one year of prior cook or food service experience.

Pay Range: $15.00 to $16.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Prepares food according to standards, ensuring quality and safety, and maintains cleanliness and safety in the kitchen.

Essential Duties
  1. Prepare high-quality food items following recipes and instructions.
  2. Serve meals, ensuring proper portioning, temperature, and presentation.
  3. Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the kitchen.
  4. Operate and maintain kitchen equipment.
  5. Assist with inventory, ordering, and record-keeping.
  6. Report maintenance issues and attend safety meetings.
  7. Follow all safety policies, including HACCP standards and proper use of protective equipment.
