Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Severna Park, MD is seeking a Cook to prepare meals per menus and recipes, ensuring quality and consistent presentation for residents. You will follow dietary requirements, record temperatures, and maintain a sanitary kitchen.

The role includes supporting dining service, leading production when the Dining Services Coordinator is absent, and contributing to a safe, enjoyable dining experience for residents.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals according to standardized recipes and menus
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet Sunrise standards
• Follow dietary modifications and special meal requirements
• Record production quantities and food safety temperatures
• Stock, rotate, date, and store food per safety regulations
• Maintain clean kitchen, storage, and equipment areas
• Complete cleaning logs and equipment maintenance reports
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and OSHA guidelines
• Support dishwashing and dining service as needed
• Lead food production in the absence of the Dining Services Coordinator
