Pyramid Healthcare is seeking a kitchen/cook role at Pyramid Pittsburgh Inpatient in Pittsburgh, PA. The cook will prepare and serve high-quality meals, operate kitchen equipment, and maintain sanitary, organized service areas.
The position requires adherence to food safety standards and ability to follow standardized recipes for portions and meal times. Ideal candidates have prior food prep experience, basic cooking know-how, and Serv-Safe certification or willingness to obtain it.

Schedule: A mix of opens and closes
Pay: $15/hour
Summary: In accordance with department policies and procedures, the cook is responsible for the preparation and serving of high-quality food in a timely, efficient, sanitary and consistent manner; operating and cleaning kitchen equipment; and maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the kitchen and service areas.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit, stoop, twist, kneel, or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift up to 50 pounds and carry up to 25 pounds. The employee must seldom carry up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderately quiet & indoors. This position will require regional travel. This position will be scheduled based on operational need & will be required to provide own transportation. Incumbent may be exposed to viruses, diseases, and/or infections from clients in the work environment. Incumbent may be exposed to traumatic situations (i.e. psychiatric).
