• Location: Federated Insurance - 121 East Park Square, Owatonna, MI 55060. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full-time; Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. More details upon interview.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepares food according to federal, state, and corporate standards, ensuring quality service at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepares high-quality food items per recipes to meet schedules.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery, ensuring correct portioning, temperature, and presentation. Tastes all food items.
• Uses proper ticket collection procedures and maintains records during service.
• Cleans kitchen after use, maintains cleanliness standards, and handles food storage safely.
• Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and organized.
• Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed.
• Assists with production planning, record keeping, and ordering supplies.
• Reports maintenance issues or accidents immediately.
• Attends safety and in-service meetings.
• Maintains good relationships with colleagues and customers.
• Performs job safely, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
• Follows HACCP standards for presentation, portion control, and temperatures.
• Complies with all safety policies, including using gloves, oven mitts, slip-resistant shoes, and proper lifting techniques.
