AVI Foodsystems is seeking an energetic and optimistic team member for the Cook, Full-time position. This role is scheduled Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with NO evenings and NO weekends.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide a pleasant dining experience for customers
• Assemble, combine, and cook ingredients
• Maintain a sanitary kitchen environment
• Focus on detail and presentation of each order
• Place and expedite orders
• Prepare ingredients following recipes, including slicing, chopping, stirring, and mixing
• Complete hot meal preparation via grilling, sautéing, roasting, frying, and broiling; assemble and refrigerate cold ingredients
• Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures
• Manage food dating, labeling, and rotation
• Store leftovers according to standards
• Contribute to menu planning and execution

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years cooking and food preparation experience
• Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, safety, and sanitation
• Exceptional food presentation skills
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment and appliances
• Strong work ethic and high energy
