Job Summary

Summary: Prepare food in accordance with federal, state, and corporate standards, guidelines, and regulations, following policies and procedures to ensure quality food service at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality food items according to recipes and instructions to meet production and service schedules.
• Serve meals or prepare for delivery, ensuring correct portioning, temperature, attractiveness, and taste. Taste all prepared food items.
• Use established ticket collection procedures during service and maintain records from your area during service periods.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen after preparation and serving, store or discard excess food following safe handling procedures.
• Keep refrigerators and storerooms clean and organized, store food and supplies properly.
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment as instructed.
• Assist in production planning, record keeping, and reporting as needed.
• Assist in ordering and receiving food and supplies.
• Report maintenance issues, faulty equipment, or accidents immediately.
• Attend in-service and safety meetings.
• Maintain good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators, and managers.
• Perform job safely, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Ensure proper presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures, following HACCP standards.
• Commit to personal and team safety.
• Follow all company policies and procedures, including safety protocols when handling equipment and hot items.
