Job Summary

Summary: Prepares food according to standards, guidelines, and regulations, ensuring quality service at all times.

Essential Duties:

• Prepare high-quality food following recipes and instructions to meet schedules.
• Serve meals or prepare for delivery, ensuring proper portioning, temperature, and presentation. Taste all food items.
• Follow ticket collection procedures during service and maintain records.
• Clean kitchen areas, store or discard excess food per food safety standards.
• Keep refrigerators and storerooms clean and organized.
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment.
• Assist in planning, record-keeping, and ordering supplies.
• Report maintenance issues or accidents immediately.
• Attend safety and in-service meetings.
• Maintain good relationships with coworkers, customers, and management.
• Work safely and maintain a clean environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Ensure proper presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures, following HACCP standards.
• Commit to safety for yourself and others.
• Follow all policies, including safety protocols like using gloves, oven mitts, slip-resistant shoes, and proper lifting techniques.
