Job Opening: Cook at Morrison Healthcare

We are hiring immediately for a full-time Cook position at Morrison Healthcare.

Location: Jefferson Memorial Hospital - 110 Hospital Drive, Jefferson City, TN 37760. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time; Monday through Friday, hours may vary. Weekends required. More details upon interview.

Requirement: One year of prior cooking experience preferred.

Pay Range: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepare food according to standards, guidelines, and regulations, ensuring quality service at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Prepare high-quality food items following standardized recipes and instructions.
2. Serve meals or prepare for delivery, ensuring correct portioning, temperature, and presentation.
3. Use established procedures during service and maintain accurate records.
4. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and storage areas, and operate kitchen equipment properly.
5. Assist with production planning, ordering, and reporting.
6. Report maintenance issues or accidents immediately.
7. Attend safety and in-service meetings and maintain good relationships with staff and customers.
8. Follow safety standards, including HACCP, and all company policies.
