We are hiring immediately for full-time COOK positions.

Location: Sealed Air - 1301 West Magnolia Avenue, Iowa Park, TX 76367. Note: online applications accepted only.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepares food according to federal, state, and corporate standards, guidelines, and regulations with established policies and procedures. Ensures quality food service at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepares high-quality food items according to recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery, and service schedules.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery, ensuring correct portioning, temperature, attractiveness, and taste. Tastes all prepared food items.
• Uses established procedures during service; responsible for records from the area worked during service periods.
• Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high cleanliness standards. Stores or discards excess food per safe handling procedures.
• Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and organized. Ensures proper storage of food and supplies.
• Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed.
• Assists in production planning, record keeping, and reporting as needed.
• Assists in ordering and receiving food and supplies.
• Reports maintenance issues, faulty equipment, or accidents immediately.
• Attends in-service and safety meetings.
• Maintains good relationships with coworkers, customers, and management.
• Performs job safely, maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Ensures proper presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures; follows HACCP standards.
• Prioritizes safety for oneself and others.
• Follows all company policies and procedures, including safety protocols when handling equipment and hot items.
