• Location: UVA Haymarket - 15225 Heathcote Boulevard, Haymarket, VA 20169 Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full-time. Days and hours may vary. Must be able to work every other weekend. More details upon interview.

• Pay Range: $16.00 to $19.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepares food according to federal, state, and corporate standards, ensuring quality and safety at all times.

• Prepares high-quality food items based on standardized recipes and instructions.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery, ensuring proper portioning, temperature, and presentation.
• Follows established ticket collection procedures and maintains accurate records.
• Maintains cleanliness of kitchen and storage areas, adhering to safe food-handling procedures.
• Operates and maintains kitchen equipment properly.
• Assists in production planning, ordering, and record-keeping.
• Reports maintenance issues or accidents immediately.
• Attends safety and in-service meetings.
• Fosters good working relationships with team members and clients.
• Follows HACCP standards and safety policies, including proper use of protective equipment.
